CSEA conducts elections for union leadership every 4 years.  Any union member may run for office.

Unit 9200 Election Results from American Arbitration Association (AAA).  The votes were counted June 13, 2017 at 120 Broadway, New York NY by AAA staff.
Karen Pecora has been elected President of CSEA Unit 9200 for the new 4-year term starting July 1, 2017.   
Other than for the office of President, all other Fair Contract Now slate candidates were elected.
1,406 ballot envelopes were mailed back to AAA for this election; three ballot envelopes were deemed invalid and not opened.

May 22, 2017  Reminder that all CSEA Union Members will receive two (2) ballots to your homes.
Pictures of the 2 mailings are below.
Please take the time to vote in both elections:
– 1 for the CSEA Local 860 election
– 1 for the CSEA Unit 9200 election
The Local 860 ballot is Purple color with a White return envelope.
The Unit 9200 ballot is Peach color with a Pink return envelope.
Both are sent back to the American Arbitration Association.
Please allow 3-5 business days to receive your ballots at home.  Unit 9200 election ballots were mailed May 16 from Manhattan to your homes.

Union Members with missing or damaged ballots may request replacements by calling our Duplicate Hotline 1-800-529-5218 Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  This number is to be utilized only for duplicate ballot requests.
Union Members may also make requests by e-mailing Sacha Ulerio of American Arbitration Association at ulerios@adr.org.  Voters are asked not to call prior to May 23, 2017, to allow sufficient time for the delivery of all ballots.


May 17, 2017  Notice to all CSEA Union MembersTwo Elections for Leadership of your union are taking place.  CSEA Union Members will receive 2 ballots in their home mailbox:
– 1 for the CSEA Unit 9200 election
– 1 for the CSEA Local 860 election

CSEA Union Members will be able to vote in each election.  They must be mailed back for free in the correct envelopes, separately, to the American Arbitration Association by the stated deadline dates.
NOTE:  if you have never completed and signed a CSEA Application for Union Membership then you are not a Union Member and will not receive the ballot.



CSEA has democratic elections every 4 years for officers in our union leadership.  All CSEA union members are able to vote.  (You are a union member by virtue of having signed a union membership application.)
